Mimi was named Artistic Director of Youth Theatre Northwest in 2003 and became the Executive Artistic Director in 2018.  Mimi has produced over 300 showes for youth actors and audiences and she strives to find material that will be a good training vehicle for students and an interesting artistic challenge for the professional design team. This has included some original commissioned work, collaborations with other organizations, and sight-specific pieces.

Mimi has developed a year around training program called The Conservatory, and streamlined the audition process by holding a general audition for the entire season that includes audition training for the students. Mimi also launched the Japan Project, YTN's improv company Chaos Theory, Teen Horror film, and touring Radio Drama.

 

As part of her work, Mimi directs two productions a year and teaches.
